With over 25 years' experience working in the areas of retail grocery, supply chain and information technology space Maria Svejdar is passionate about the adoption of solutions that bring people, process and technology together to create and transform how they work, sell and buy.
Together with the team in GS1 Ireland Maria Svejdar works with organisations of all sizes, from entrepreneurial start-ups to global corporations and state bodies to explore how they can make their processes more efficient, more profitable and less costly. Bringing organisations together to collaboratively create supply chains that are more transparent, sustainable and safer is their overriding objective. She is currently focussed on implementing Customer Experience (CX) and Design Thinking best practices within GS1 Ireland to deepen engagement with their customers and to drive greater value for them from the use of GS1 standards-based solutions.
Maria Svejdar is deeply committed to on-going professional development and learning; and since completing her Bachelor of Commerce Degree from University College of Dublin has completed a Postgraduate Certificate in Design Thinking (IADT), a Postgraduate Diploma in Digital Marketing (DMI), a Certificate in Graphic Design (BFEI) as well as numerous personal interest qualifications in Horticulture and Floristry.
