Circle K Ireland, the country's leading forecourt and convenience retailer, has reopened its refurbished Shannon store following an investment of over €900,000, delivering an enhanced customer experience across food, beverages, off-licence, EV charging and car wash services, according to Retail News.

The redevelopment has created three new jobs and retained 12 existing roles, supporting employment and economic activity within the Shannon community. The investment reinforces Circle K's ongoing commitment to developing its retail network while improving convenience, choice and value for customers.

The enhanced food offering includes an improved hot and cold deli, an expanded grab-and-go range, an enhanced bakery and a broader coffee experience incorporating speciality options such as matcha. A new off-licence has also been introduced, operating from 10:30am to 10:00pm Monday to Saturday and from 12:30pm to 10:00pm on Sundays, featuring an expanded beer range, dedicated wine chiller and an enlarged wine selection.

The drinks offering has been extended with a wider variety of functional beverages including fibre-infused sparkling sodas, vitamin-enhanced waters and matcha drinks, alongside an expanded confectionery and snacks range.

As part of the redevelopment, Circle K has installed four EV charging points across two charging hubs and four dedicated EV parking spaces, alongside a new car wash experience anchored by the Ultimate Wash programme.

Circle K Extra loyalty members can avail of exclusive reopening promotions from 3 to 10 July, including 5c off fuel, coffee for €2.50, a €3 Chicken Fillet Roll and a free Pepsi with any sandwich.
