Food-tech company Foodhub has announced the establishment of its global headquarters in Dublin, moving from its previous base in Stoke-on-Trent, UK. The relocation is expected to create at least 35 new roles, predominantly in senior positions spanning technology, sales, and customer service.

Founded in 2017 by Ardian Mula and Mohammed Shakil, Foodhub connects consumers with local restaurants and takeaways while providing delivery software and point-of-sale hardware to the hospitality sector. Today, the company operates internationally, with offices in Ireland, the UK, the US, and Australia, employing approximately 1,200 people worldwide.

CEO Ardian Mula said the move reflects Foodhub’s long-term commitment to Ireland as a strategic and innovative hub, offering access to a tech-savvy workforce, B2B customers, and a robust hospitality ecosystem. Dublin’s reputation as a centre for technology and innovation provides a platform to strengthen partnerships and accelerate global expansion.

Government and industry leaders welcomed the announcement. Minister for Enterprise, Tourism and Employment Peter Burke highlighted the benefits for independent food businesses, while IDA Ireland CEO Michael Lohan described the relocation as a strong endorsement of Ireland’s international business and innovation credentials, citing global connectivity, talent availability, and a collaborative business environment.

Ireland continues to attract global operations, with firms such as EXL and fintech giant Stripe expanding their international presence in Dublin, reinforcing the city’s growing role as a European innovation and tech hub.
