Tata Consultancy Services has opened an AI-native creative engineering studio in London, its TCS Interactive Creative Engineering Studio, expanding the company's focus on AI-led services in the UK. The 4,500 sq ft facility will house creative, industry and engineering teams working with clients on customer experience, revenue growth and market expansion.

Detailed in the announcement, Tata Consultancy Services is a Mumbai-headquartered IT services group and part of the Tata Group. The London studio expands the global network of TCS Interactive, the company's digital design, marketing and experience-led transformation arm, following the launch of its New York studio in 2025.

The structural driver behind the studio is combining strategy, product design, engineering and insights under a single AI-led approach, rather than treating creative and engineering disciplines as separate functions, giving clients a single hub to connect UK work with TCS's global capabilities.

"Our vision is to help our clients unlock new growth opportunities by orchestrating strategy, product design, engineering, and insights with an AI-led approach," said Kamal Bhadada, President of TCS Interactive. "The London studio is at the heart of this global network of hybrid talent connecting our UK clients to our global capabilities around the world to create and activate new experiences, drive adoption, and sustain growth through insights."

The studio forms part of TCS's wider UK and Ireland investment, where the company plans to create 5,000 jobs over the next three years as it increasingly hires staff with a mix of creative, business and technology skills. "The UK&I is a vital market for TCS, and this studio reflects our commitment to driving innovation for our clients and AI-led creative engineering," said Vinay Singhvi, TCS Head of UK & Ireland.

Tata Consultancy Services trades on the National Stock Exchange of India under the ticker TCS and reported revenue of around $28 billion (approximately €23.5 billion) and net income of $5.1 billion (approximately €4.28 billion) in its most recent financial year, with more than 584,000 employees worldwide.

For the sector, the London studio reflects growing investment by large IT services groups in AI-led creative engineering as a distinct discipline, positioning customer experience and brand work as a growth driver alongside traditional technology consulting in the UK and Ireland market.
