WAGO UK & Ireland has officially opened its new £multi-million headquarters in Rugby, completing a four-year development project designed to combine operational efficiency with customer-focused innovation.

The 62,000ft² facility integrates office space, warehouse functions, and a dedicated Customer Experience Centre, allowing clients to receive hands-on training and product demonstrations. This approach highlights the usability, reliability, and build quality of WAGO’s solutions, reinforcing the importance of face-to-face engagement in technical industries.

The Customer Experience Centre is equipped with demonstration equipment, housed in industrial enclosures supplied in partnership with Spelsberg. The space allows visitors to explore operational products in detail, facilitating deeper understanding and discussion of complex industrial applications. This emphasis on direct interaction reflects WAGO’s commitment to building strong client relationships and delivering tailored technical guidance.

The Rugby headquarters is situated on the historic Houlton site, formerly home to the 250m-high radio masts that transmitted the world’s first transatlantic phone call in 1927.

The location not only connects WAGO to a legacy of technological achievement but also positions the company centrally within the UK, offering convenient access for customers and partners. The new facility currently accommodates just over 100 employees, with scope to double capacity as the business expands.

Built to BREEAM Excellent standards, the development integrates sustainability with practical operational design. WAGO’s electrical connections are used throughout, underlining the company’s focus on showcasing its technology in real-world applications.

The combination of eco-friendly construction, state-of-the-art demonstration facilities, and a strategically located headquarters supports both the company’s operational and customer engagement objectives.

The Rugby campus exemplifies how WAGO balances technical innovation, sustainability, and customer experience, providing a platform for collaboration, training, and industry-leading solutions.
