UK and Ireland intruder alarm manufacturer HKC has named Sean Doyle as its new Security and Risk Manager according to a Facilities Management report, underscoring a sharpened focus on customer experience (CX) and service innovation.

The move will see Doyle leading the Security and Risk Team responsible for SecureComm2, the subscription-based platform that enables installers and homeowners to monitor and access intruder alarm systems. The team also manages recurring subscription revenue, billing set-up, and user account administration across the region.

Doyle brings extensive financial services experience, including roles in insurance, banking, and commercial lease financing, and has previously led customer-facing teams focused on balancing regulatory requirements with practical, solution-driven engagement.

Commenting on his new role, Doyle said, “Customer satisfaction is what I would like to achieve with HKC. Talking to our installer partners gives us the opportunity to understand how they feel about HKC products and the improvements or new features that they would like to see. Listening to your customers helps evolve your products and services accordingly, it’s beneficial for both parties and the commercial and service outcomes will follow.”

HKC’s leadership emphasises that Doyle’s appointment is a strategic step in enhancing the company’s ability to align product innovation with customer needs. The SecureComm2 app represents a growing focus on digital tools that improve CX while maintaining robust operational oversight and recurring revenue streams.

By combining advanced technology with targeted customer insight, HKC is positioning itself to deliver smoother, more responsive service experiences across its UK and Ireland markets.
