UK-based integrated mobility solutions platform ZIGUP plc has announced a strategic collaboration with Microsoft to accelerate its digital transformation through the adoption of advanced AI tools, according to Microsoft UK Stories.

The company, which provides commercial vehicle rental, accident management, repair and fleet services, is rolling out Microsoft 365 Copilot to approximately 3,500 employees, supported by a structured AI training and enablement programme across the group.

The deployment forms part of ZIGUP's broader strategic ambition to modernise its mobility platform, simplifying and scaling operations for growth. The company has positioned itself as a 'Frontier Firm', a designation reflecting organisations that pair deep sector expertise with advanced AI to drive measurable productivity gains.

Embedding Copilot into day-to-day workflows is designed to free employees from routine tasks, enabling greater focus on higher-value customer engagement and delivering faster, more personalised customer experiences across branch operations and central functions.

ZIGUP chief executive Martin Ward said: "We're building a business that is simpler, faster and more responsive to customer needs, and AI has the potential to be a key enabler of that."

Ward added: "Combining our expertise with Microsoft, we're scaling this across ZIGUP in a way that will deliver real performance improvement."

Theo Michalopoulos, General Manager Enterprise Commercial at Microsoft UK & Ireland, said the collaboration would enable employees to "unlock new levels of productivity and enable faster, more responsive and more personalised experiences for customers."

The Microsoft partnership accelerates ZIGUP's existing technology programme, extending AI adoption across branch operations, customer service and central business functions.
