Dovida, Ireland’s largest home care provider, is scaling up recruitment nationwide to meet increasing demand for personalised home support services. Following strong growth in 2025, the company aims to provide care to a growing number of older adults and people with disabilities, while creating sustainable employment opportunities across the country.

Currently employing over 4,000 professional caregivers, Dovida supports people across communities, allowing them to remain in their homes rather than residential settings. Flexible working arrangements, paid training, and clear progression pathways are being highlighted as key attractions for new recruits, with roles available on part-time, full-time, or fixed-hours contracts from a minimum of 25 hours per week.

Shane Jennings, CEO of Dovida Ireland, said: “The need for care and support in the home is growing as our society ages, and personalised home support services for people of all ages and abilities are preferred to residential care. We are proud to be able to offer local jobs that empower people to live in their homes, connected to their families, friends, and communities.”

Shannon Lynch, Talent Acquisition Manager, added: “Many of our caregivers joined from careers in retail, hospitality, or customer service. They wanted work that fits their lifestyle and gives back to the community, and caregiving offers exactly that. A lot of people also come to us having had previous experience caring for a family member and have realised this is something they have a passion for.”

Dovida also provides opportunities for individuals on General Work Permits and those receiving social welfare, ensuring access to a diverse talent pool.
