Customer experience is taking centre stage in the wholesale furniture sector as Image Furnishings announces a significant expansion of its UK operations, positioning itself as a strategic supply partner for independent retailers, regional chains and buying groups.
Headquartered in Ireland and operating across Ireland and the UK, Image Furnishings has built its business over more than 20 years by aligning product performance with service reliability. The latest expansion includes the recruitment of six new UK sales agents and a broader operational footprint designed to give retailers faster access to stock, dependable delivery and responsive after-sales support.
The move coincides with the unveiling of Image’s latest sofa collections and a refreshed brand identity at the January Furniture Show, reinforcing its growth ambitions for 2026. The company says its approach is rooted in long-term partnerships rather than transactional supply.
“Retailers need partners who can react quickly, supply consistently and support growth. We have always prioritised long-term partnerships over one-off transactions. That philosophy shapes every step of the customer experience,” said director Mark Gannon.
Image’s service model focuses on reducing friction across the retailer journey. This includes ready-to-go stock with strong sell-through performance, lead times of as little as 14 days on key ranges, clear warranties and accessible after-sales support. Its vertically integrated structure, supported by teams in Ireland, the UK and China, allows Image to retain control over quality, sampling and production without the constraints of factory ownership.
“Our supply chain is engineered to give retailers the right product, at the right price, delivered quickly,” Gannon said. “In a market where delays can cost retailer sales, speed and quality are our competitive advantage.”
